Planks are pinned to the bench by coloured bolts. Unscrew a bolt and it goes to the tray; collect three of a colour and they clear together. Free every bolt holding a plank and the plank comes away, uncovering what was underneath.
The whole puzzle is the order. The tray only holds so many bolts at once, so taking the easy bolt first can leave you holding four colours and no way to finish any of them.
Every level has a par: the most tray slots a clean solution ever needs. Your grade is the peak number of slots you filled, measured against that par — so the stars are about the route you chose, not how fast you were. There is no timer anywhere in Plankly.
Six worlds of twenty handcrafted levels, each world its own room. Clear levels to earn pieces of a wooden keepsake — five pieces make one, and the shelf fills up as you go. There is also a daily board with a streak, and an endless run with a global leaderboard once you want one.
Cogs are earned by playing and spent on 22 kinds of wood for your bench, on a workshop hand, and on tools — a hint, an extra tray slot, an undo — when a board has you stuck. Nothing is behind a wall you cannot earn your way past.
Plays offline; only the leaderboard needs a connection. No chat, no multiplayer, non-violent, and available in eight languages.
