This Privacy Policy explains how Magicdoku: Pet Logic Puzzle (“the Game”, “we”, “us”), published by TDzStudio, handles information when you play. The Game needs no account and no sign-in, and the puzzles work offline.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Anonymous player ID (Firebase anonymous sign-in) | Save your level progress, stars, paws and cosmetics, and identify your leaderboard row. It is created automatically at first launch and is not tied to an email, phone number or social account. |
| Display name & best score (online leaderboard) | If you play online, the display name you choose and your scores are uploaded to our servers and shown publicly on a global leaderboard visible to other players. |
| Gameplay & usage events | Understand which levels and features are used, so we can improve them (Google Analytics for Firebase). |
| Crash & diagnostic logs | Detect and fix bugs, crashes and performance problems (Firebase Crashlytics). |
| Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android) | Show ads and, where you allow it, measure ad performance. See “Ads and tracking” below. |
| Purchase status | Deliver and restore “Remove Ads”, the VIP Club subscription, pet packs and paw top-ups. Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google — we never see your card details. |
| Approximate region | Inferred by our ad and analytics providers from your IP address, to choose appropriate ads and content. We do not request device location. |
We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. There is no chat and no online multiplayer; the only content other players can see is the display name and score on your leaderboard row. Play offline if you prefer not to appear there.
The display name is the only thing a player can write that another player ever sees. It is up to 16 characters, it appears on the global leaderboard next to your best score, and the Game suggests one for you (such as Familiar4821) so you never have to invent one. There is no chat, no messaging, no comments, no profile text and no photo or file upload anywhere in Magicdoku.
A display name must not contain:
Reporting a name. Email support@vion.fun with the subject “Magicdoku leaderboard report”, the name exactly as it appears, and a screenshot if you have one. We aim to answer reports of objectionable names within 24 hours and to act on the ones we uphold in the same reply.
What we do about it. A name that breaks the rules above is removed or reset, and the leaderboard entry is taken down with it. Where the same anonymous player ID keeps posting objectionable names, we bar that ID from the leaderboard entirely — it can still play every level, offline and online, but it no longer publishes a name. We may also remove a name we reasonably believe to be inappropriate without a report.
If you would rather not appear at all, play offline: the puzzles, levels, pets and rewards all work with no connection, and nothing is published. You can also change your display name at any time from the profile screen, or ask us to delete your entry — see “Your choices & rights” below.
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob — a banner, occasional interstitials, and opt-in rewarded ads you choose to watch for a bonus. Ad partners may use your advertising identifier to serve and measure ads.
Buying Remove Ads or holding an active VIP Club subscription removes the banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain available if you want them.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
Magicdoku is family-friendly and non-violent, but it is not directed to children: it serves ads and analytics and is not enrolled in Apple's Kids category or Google Play's Designed for Families programme. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where required, ads are served in a child-appropriate manner and behavioural advertising is limited. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your level progress, stars, paws and cosmetics are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the Game. Your profile and leaderboard entry (anonymous ID, display name, scores, avatar) are stored in Cloud Firestore for as long as the entry exists on the leaderboard, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics and crash data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
